 Cadets at the Crafton Hills Fire Academy in Yucaipa, Calif. practice working with fire houses on September 18, 2018. They take aim at different points on their practice wall in order to be able to use these skills to pinpoint hots spots in a real fire situation.
 Cadets at the Crafton Hills Fire Academy in Yucaipa, Calif. are coached by Chief Mike Smith during a drill working with fire houses on September 18, 2018. The pressure of the valves have such force that they could cause lethal damage to a human if not handled correctly. In this session, cadets begin by practicing safe opening and closing of the hose valves and taking aim at the practice wall with a lower water pressure.
